Week 4 - Tired of writing about movies 🍎🥧
In first place, there is apple pie. Apple pie is by far the best pie out there. Patriotism emanates from this delicious desert. In addition, you can eat apple pie with so many other things, providing new, mouthwatering combinations for your next snack. I particularly like to eat apple pie with vanilla ice cream, but you can also eat it with cheese or whipped cream.
My second favorite pie is blueberry. It has a nice tart flavor and is generally regarded as the king of berry pies. You can also make this pie in so many different ways, combining lemon and ginger flavors to make every time more interesting.
In third place, we have pumpkin pie. Especially with Thanksgiving coming up, the need for pumpkin pie is at an all time high. It's simple, elegant, and good pies can be found at most local stores. Not only does it have sweet and savory tastes, it incorporates a distinct spice with it's orange base.
Fourth is lemon meringue. Lemon meringue pie combines two flavors in a way so that the tart of the lemon cuts perfectly through the sweet of the meringue. The airiness of the crust is a nice addition to the texture of the fluffy meringue as well. If you like sour foods, this is for you.
In fifth and last place, we have peach pie. Peach is a fruit many of us don't eat enough. You don't normally find this type of pie in stores but when its homemade, it's very good. Peach pie can also be mixed with whipped cream and ice cream to provide an extra kick.
You can post your own ranking of pies, but I will probably not trust your judgement.
Honorable Mentions: I've heard sweet potato pie is very good, but I have not tried it as of yet.
why would you mention a pie you havent tried
